BBQ
Coochie BBQ is known throughout the South QLD surf clubs as one of the best barbies around! Parental help is greatly appreciated to cook and clean up after the BBQ. Each age group is rostered on weekly so look out for when it's your turn. Fundraising
Coochiemudlo Island Surf Life Saving Club is a not for profit organisation. We try very hard to keep our membership fees as low as possible and this is achieved through our fundraising efforts. Our member’s help throughout the season is vital to the operation of our club. Every family is expected to participate in the annual QLD Surf Lifesaving Appeal, also known as bucket collection day. This is our major fundraising event of the year with takings going directly to our Nipper Programme. Our second major fundraising efforts are our BBQs. We ask all families to participate in at least one BBQ event each season (usually held at Bunnings, Victoria Point). Rosters will be based on Nipper age groups; adults should make themselves available for a two hour roster slot on their child’s age group BBQ day. Extra help from families is encouraged and appreciated; we have lots of opportunities for volunteers! We thank all our volunteers from last year and look forward to working with you again this season. Art Union tickets are available throughout the season, please support your club and buy your tickets from us to win a major prize - feel like a new house or car??? |
